The Solar Home Lighting project in villages of Rajasthan has no progress during the reporting period as hard lockdown was imposed due to COVID -19. We on behalf of the SED and on prospective beneficiaries’ behalf thanks to all of you who has supported our work and helped in lighting homes of poor rural people by donating money.
The SED through its GVK developed demonstration centre to step up our efforts to reach as many villagers as possible. We have identified few beneficiaries from 5 villages, that we can stall solar systems. As funds are exhausted we are unable to cater the demand from new beneficiaries and sought new donations from all of you.
We will resume work after condition become normal in the project Area.
