Thank you for continuing to walk with us as we work toward a fully solar-powered Kudvumisa Clinic and Skills Center. This project is key to ensuring sustainable, reliable healthcare for the Maphiveni community and surrounding areas.
To date, we have raised $6,406 toward our $25,000 goal. While progress has been slower than we hoped, we remain deeply committed to seeing this project through. Every step forward strengthens our ability to deliver care consistently and sustainably, even in the face of ongoing power challenges.
Currently, our partial solar system provides some relief but still falls short of powering the entire clinic and skills center. As a result, high electricity costs averaging between 5,000 and 6,000 emalangeni monthly continue to strain our limited resources. These are funds that could instead support patients, community outreach, and vital medicines. A complete solar installation would change that. It would allow us to reduce operational expenses, protect critical medical supplies during outages, and ensure uninterrupted service delivery to those who need it most.
We continue to plan strategically for the next phase, identifying ways to stretch each contribution and maximize the impact of the support we’ve already received. Your ongoing engagement, through sharing our work, staying connected, and spreading awareness, remains invaluable as we push toward our goal.
Thank you for believing in the power of sustainable healthcare and helping us bring lasting energy solutions to Kudvumisa.
