Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Solar Food Dehydrators for 500 Nigerian Farmers project. Your contribution shows concern for farmers facing food loss and income challenges. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the planned distribution, and more support is needed.
Across many rural communities, farmers continue to lose a large portion of their harvest due to spoilage, poor storage, and lack of preservation tools. Fruits, vegetables, and grains often go to waste before they reach the market.
These losses reduce household income, limit food availability, and increase hardship for farming families who depend on their harvest for survival.
This project is designed to provide solar food dehydrators to 500 farmers, along with training on how to dry and store crops for longer use. By extending shelf life, farmers can preserve food, sell surplus produce, and improve their income.
With the right support, farmers can reduce waste, strengthen food supply, and improve their livelihoods.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this project and reach farmers in need.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
