We are pleased to announce that the project for the installation of a solar power system at Madina Community Health Post, Madina, Tonko Limba Chiefdom, Kambia District, Sierra Leone, has been completed successfully, well ahead of schedule.
EFO recently recieved extra funding from Global Sunrise (http://www.globalsunrise.net/) and the Bridge Street Church Foundation (http://www.bridgestreetchurch.com/), which allowed us to make this project a reality.
We here at Energy For Opportunity, as well as the 5,714 people who reside in the Madina catchment area, are greatly appreciative of all of thedonations which helped enable this project to proceed. Overall, we are very pleased with the result of this installation as it will have an immediate and long-lasting impact on the people of Madina, Sierra Leone. Attached are some pictures taken by our local engineer during the project.
