Dear friends!
After months of waiting for restrictions to be lifted, we were finally able to set out on our search for the Social Innovation Lab space you so generously supported during the campaign last December. Of course this didn't go without hiccups either, but - at last - we have some exciting news for you: we found a space, signed the lease and yesterday received the keys! The photos don't do it justice - the space is great.
We haven't set a date yet for the Grand Opening, but we will start using the space immediately. We need to add some furniture, make sure the internet works, paint some walls, but other than that we are ready to go!
Over the next few weeks we will keep you updated about developments, but please also follow us on our social media channels where we will post more regular updates. If you would like to continue supporting this project, you can do so in a few ways: if you are in Cyprus, help us in person to source furniture, plants, decorations or help us clean, paint, transport or anything else you can think of. If you are not in Cyprus you can help us with promoting the space and the concept, but also by your continued financial support which will help us to pay for rent, staff, expenses and items like hardware and furniture. These things are almost never covered by grants, and we really need your support for the future.
And an important one: you can put us in touch with companies (both in Cyprus and globally) that would consider sponsoring us (we are open to branding options), please get in touch with us. We see a lot of potential for win-win partnerships here.
We hope you are as excited as we are about this news, and we hope to hear from you!
Thank you!
