Thank you for the generosity you have shown us so far.
We have been busy...
Our new service centre is taking off. We have expanded our social work programmes to most daily hours of the week, so anyone coming to our gate can interact with us. We see new faces and experience new personal stories from people who found themselves lost, but now can start engaging in meaningful opportunities to make steps towards a better life.
We have never turned someone away without access if they come for help, but we have been fortunate enough to get more staff to address the extremely big need for social services in central Cape Town.
However, that also means The Hope Exchange cannot help but ask for your support if you are available to give such.
On our side, we are facing winter. Winter might not sound bad, as we are in the south of Africa, but it is cruel with rain and an icy cold wind.
