We are pleased to provide an update on the achievements of our soap-making project, made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the GlobalGiving community. The $126 received has allowed us to train school children, young mothers, and local residents in practical soap production skills.
Through a series of hands-on workshops, participants learned how to manufacture both liquid and solid soap, package finished products, and identify local market opportunities. The project purchased all required ingredients and training materials, ensuring that participants could gain practical experience from start to finish.
The training resulted in the production of soap that was distributed to 20 households. Beneficiary families are now enjoying improved hygiene and sanitation, while trainees are applying their new skills to create products that can generate income. The project is also helping to establish a culture of saving and entrepreneurship through the children's SACCO.
We are deeply grateful for your support. Your contributions are creating opportunities for vulnerable children and families to build healthier, more sustainable futures. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a lasting impact.
