We are excited to share a successful update from the Good Cause Foundation social entrepreneurship initiative in Kiyunga, Mukono District, Uganda.
Through the generous donations received from supporters and friends around the world, we successfully conducted vocational training for 50 community members on how to make both liquid and solid soap. The training mainly benefited women, youth, and vulnerable community members seeking practical skills for income generation and self-reliance.
Participants were equipped with hands-on knowledge in soap production, hygiene practices, packaging, and basic entrepreneurship skills. After the training sessions, community members actively participated in the production of both liquid and solid soap products, which are now ready for use and small-scale business activities.
This initiative is helping families improve hygiene standards while also creating opportunities for savings and sustainable income generation within the community. Some participants have already taken soap products home to begin selling within their neighborhoods and local markets.
We sincerely thank all donors, partners, and supporters whose contributions made this project possible. Your support continues to create lasting impact and hope for vulnerable communities in Uganda.
As we move forward, we aim to expand this project to reach more communities, provide additional vocational training, and support participants with startup materials to strengthen their small businesses.
Together, we are building empowered and self-reliant communities.
