Skills That Create Lasting Impact
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we continue to witness the transformative power of practical skills training. The support received through GlobalGiving has enabled us to train vulnerable children, young mothers, and community members in soap production and entrepreneurship.
Participants learned how to manufacture liquid and solid soap while developing important skills in teamwork, financial responsibility, and problem-solving. The project provided all the necessary materials to ensure successful training outcomes.
The soap produced was distributed to 20 households, improving access to hygiene products and promoting healthier living conditions. Many participants are now interested in using these skills to establish small businesses and improve their livelihoods.
We remain committed to strengthening the children's SACCO and creating sustainable opportunities for future growth.

Empowering Communities Through Local Solutions
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our generous supporters and the GlobalGiving team for helping us empower children and families through practical skills training. The $126 received so far has enabled us to organize soap-making workshops that are creating positive change within our community.
Children, young mothers, and community members participated in hands-on training sessions where they learned how to produce quality liquid and solid soap using locally available materials. Participants also gained knowledge in hygiene promotion, product packaging, and basic entrepreneurship.
The soap produced during the training was distributed to 20 households, helping families improve sanitation and reduce the cost of purchasing cleaning products. We are encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by participants and their willingness to apply these skills to generate income.
Thank you for helping us build healthier and more self-reliant communities.
