Soap Making for Health & Income in Rural Schools

Empowering Students Through Skills Development

We are excited to report that our project has received 3 donations totaling $126. This early support is helping us lay the foundation for a program that combines education, entrepreneurship, and community development.

The liquid soap-making initiative provides students with hands-on experience in production, packaging, marketing, record keeping, and financial management. These practical skills prepare young people for future employment and self-reliance while helping them understand the value of entrepreneurship.

In addition to developing business skills, students contribute directly to improving hygiene standards in their schools. The income generated from soap sales will create a revolving fund that supports vulnerable children with educational materials and school fees.

Early Support Creating Lasting Impact

The project will train students to produce liquid soap using affordable, locally available materials. The soap will be used for handwashing in schools, improving hygiene and reducing disease transmission. Any surplus soap will be sold within nearby communities, generating income to support vulnerable learners with school supplies and fees.
