During the period under review, GLOWA continued to monitors the five beneficiaries of the project to make sure their activities are developing as previewed. Our street side restaurant owner continued with the repay of her interest free loan while the trainees are progressing. A major part of this quarter was concentrated on evaluation both for the complete program and the beneficiaries
Efforts were made to recruit fundraiser for the project with a few editing carried out on the project presentation.
A major achievement of the project this quarter was the admission of one more beneficiary into the project. Uncle Mike (his pseudo name) is starting a roadside grill commonly called soya in Cameroon. The business shall sell roasted meat. The project is helping him in developing a sustainable plan for the business. When this is done, he will receive support with interest-free loan to start the activity.
We also carried out a visit to the road side restaurant and got some video of our project participant and a picture of her at the market place. Monitoring and evaluation has been an ongoing part of our initiative.
