Reach For A Dream is a household name, and as a 32 year old Foundation, the prospect of not being able to fulfil dreams and engender a passion for life in our children, is something we cannot begin to contemplate. We are trying to do all we can to ensure that we can continue to positively impact South African children after the crisis has passed. Once we are able to engage with our beneficiaries again, we anticipate an influx of little dreamers who will be in need of support, but in the meantime, we need to ensure that we can survive this period.
A sobering fact is that the thousands of life threatened children, whose lives we touch, remain ill, and need to be encouraged and nurtured.
With hundreds of children isolated by their illness and now isolated by COVID-19, they need our support now more than ever.
The prospect of not being able to fulfil the dreams post the pandemic will have a devastating effect on these already very vulnerable children. We therefore thank you for assisting us to make a dream come true for Oluhle. Her dream was to own her very own laptop.
Oluhle loves South African history and throughout her assessment she kept telling us about Robin Island. Her dream was to have a laptop of her own one day as she wants to learn computer programming. For her dream we took her for a tour to Robin Island. Oluhle was so excited. She could not stop smiling or talking about how this was the best day of her life.
Please help us to make mmore dreams like this a reality by donating to our beautiful cause. The impact of a dream is a true blessing and helps vulnerable children find the strength, courage and hope to fight their illness.
Thank you for the support.
