Since our last update, we’ve taken significant strides toward building an inclusive future through the SkillsHub initiative. Our project continues to empower youth with disabilities by equipping them with practical, demand-driven skills that open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and social participation. Over the past few months, we’ve reached 437 new youth, offering training in digital literacy, business skills, and vocational trades such as baking, agriculture, and event management.
One of our most inspiring stories is that of Joe a 35-year-old man who is blind from North West. Who become blind recently and had to be taught computer again as a blind person. Before joining the SkillsHub program, Joe had never touched a computer. Today, he not only creates presentations and manages emails, but he also encourages other youth in basic Microsoft Office skills. His confidence has soared, and he’s currently developing a proposal to start a small baking business in his community with other program graduates.
Each learner we reach is a step closer to our vision of an inclusive society where youth with disabilities are not left behind. Thanks to your generous support, we’re building more than a center, we’re building a movement of capable, motivated, and resilient young people who are shaping their futures.
As we gear up for our next training cycle, we remain deeply grateful for your continued commitment. Your support fuels transformation one skill, one life, one story at a time.
