Skills Training for Youths

Skills Training for Youths

Project Report | Aug 8, 2026
Part 2 of College is Underway

By Ian Wilson | Director

The youths in our bespoke dual training model reported last week for their second college tuition block.  Our one year programme consists of two intensive college blocks interspersed with two on the job apprenticeship training blocks and an initial life skills training block.  After this college block, the youths will finish their apprenticeships and graduate in November.  We are close to the finish line and they are all doing splendidly.

We continue to be amazed, not only at how successful and we'll received this programme has been by all stakeholders, but at the incredible long term impact it is having since we introduced it several years ago.  Hopefully, we will be able to support even more youth in 2027.  Watch this space for the happy graduates in November!
