For many of the youths we work with, the week before Christmas brought them a very special Christmas gift - they received their graduation certificates and their toolkits!
We were so proud of our 132 youths who completed their bespoke training courses, consisting of classwork in three local vocational colleges, alongside on the job apprenticeship training in various skills including mechanics, electrical work, hairdessing and other practical courses. They all passed their exams with flying colours and enjoyed a thrilling graduation ceremony.
The skills training programme has again proved successful and we worked with three vocational colleges during 2021. We have now started our 2022 training course working with even more youths than 2021 (160) and including a fourth local college. We hope this will prove as successful as past efforts.
Thank you for your support which has changed these 132 lives for the better - not to mention all the lives they will impact including their children and other dependants.
