The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is seeking support to provide 300 young mothers with practical vocational skills that can help them create sustainable livelihoods. Many young mothers face economic hardship and limited access to formal employment, making it difficult to meet the needs of their children.
The planned training will focus on practical skills such as shoe making, tailoring, hairdressing and beauty, baking and catering, soap and detergent making, beadwork and crafts, poultry keeping, and small-business management. Participants will also receive entrepreneurship and financial literacy training to help them manage income, save, market their products, and grow small businesses.
With the right skills and encouragement, young mothers can become productive entrepreneurs rather than remaining dependent on limited sources of support.
Your donation can help provide the training needed to turn potential into opportunity. Together, we can empower 300 young mothers to build sustainable livelihoods and create brighter futures for their children.
