The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is committed to helping vulnerable young mothers gain the skills and confidence they need to become self-reliant. We are seeking donor support to train 300 young mothers in practical vocational and income-generating skills.
The proposed training will include shoe making, tailoring and garment production, hairdressing and beauty, baking, catering, soap and liquid detergent production, crafts and beadwork, poultry farming, and entrepreneurship. Participants will also learn how to manage small businesses, save money, identify customers, price products, and market their services.
For a young mother facing poverty and limited opportunities, acquiring a practical skill can become a foundation for economic independence. It can enable her to earn an income, support her children's education, and contribute to household needs.
Your support can help us turn training into opportunity and opportunity into lasting change. Together, we can help 300 young mothers build stronger and more secure futures.
