Time to Help Young Women project & add 50% to your donation via Safer World Fund

Dear all Donors of this project, This great opportunity to help this project via adding up 50% to your donation, the time is going up and we needs more 4,500 US $ for this quarter to provide sewing machines to 90 young women, got skilled during training in sewing and skill training centers. We hope our call will provide opportunity to all of you to support our cause.

The women we are focusing are poor and needs support to come out from their basic needs through earning money at household level. We are starting up 10 sewing and skill training centers and that will help about 200 young women to learn and practiced at household level

Skill training on Enterprise Development Conducted in 05 villages of Matli area


AHD women program team organized 05 training in 05 villages for women participants to start savings and entrepreneur schemes in 05 villages, during training women participated fully interest and learned how to save on monthly basis. Women also started Kitchen gardening and poultry rearing at household level. Some women started growing vegetable and now they have fresh vegetable at their household level. AHD women trainers provided them training and material about season vegetable cultivation.

AHD team will also conduct fallow up visits and we hope if this project will receive handsome donations and grants then we will be able to provide seed and tool kits to 100 women, for this purpose we need only US $ 5,000 to help 100 women.

80 women from 05 new villages selected for the Trainings on Entrepreneur skills

AHD working in poor women focusing most deserving families facing financial crises and food security problem at their household level, in this regard AHD finalized some 05 new villages and selected some 80 women to empower them and help them to learn Entrepreneur skills for the Kitchen Gardening, Poultry, Fruit Tree plantation, livestock and small loans schemes initiative with them.

Women belong to the rural area, family income below 60 US $ monthly and facing drought conditions in their villages due to water shortage and needs Global Giving donors attention as well as support for the 80 women and enable AHD to complete activities within 2nd quarter of 2016.

On This Christmas Eve 150 women selected for the Poultry birds Distribution near Matli

AHD women team in leadership with Miss. Tahira Rajput, selected some 150 women from 10 villages for the provision of the trainings on Poultry backyard rearing at their household level on this Christmas Season, for the Poultry training and provision of birds package of 10 hen to one women in selected villages within this quarter. We at AHD hopeful that with sewing centers this will be the key skills for rural women to generate income at house hold level.

Bushra earning income for her family

Bushra learns sewing skills & now earning income for her family

Bushrais a 19 years of age, she read in HSC 2nd year. She belongs to a very poor family residing with 4 sisters and her mother is a house wife & father hasn’t good income source to run her family.

She acquire it extremely difficult to carry on this as her family themselves has limited resources and cannot have enough money to present helping hand toward them

Bushrahas try to work outside but cultural barrier did not allow her to earn this way for long

Sewing center in Latifabad unit number 4 has given bushra an opportunity to learn sewing skilled being close to her home and family, she has prove herself a dedicated student with the 3 month. She is able to stitch a complete dress. After month or two she will be acquire expertises in stitching and after the completing this course hopes to that sewing machine.

Bushra after the training start tailoring work in her homes. Where people of the surrounding areas give her clothing for stitching and she earn some amount out of which she maintain her selves and support her family


Coming to sewing center as also infested in her a huge confidence and new sprite to lead a better life she has mate lots of friends and built a unique support system here

Bushra want to start off sewing activity at home to generate some income for her family

She also dreams that she could study more and she could help her sisters to go school for further education. And thanks to AHD bringing silver lining in her life & She moving towards betterment.
