In Uganda school is not free. Suubi has a sponsorship program for children of the moms we serve. Right now there are 52 school-age children in our program. We are now partnering with schools. We send the sponsorship money directly to the schools. They will send us the report cards of the kids. Before we gave funds to the moms. Most of them were faithful with the receipts and report cards, but not all were. Now we feel there will be a higher level of accountability. Monthly sponsorship is 35 dollars a month. We still need 11 sponsors. The kids are really happy to be back in class. It's a great joy to see them doing so well!
