Single Step is on track with executing our priorities:
- On March 7, 2018, we launched a toll-free hotline, which, in combination with the very first licensed online chat in Bulgaria, provides support to LGBTI youth and their parents and is staffed with 9 trained volunteers;
- Single Step finished among the top 3 finalists in The Change competition, a joint initiative by Reach for Change (http://reachforchange.org/en/) and Nova TV, one of the biggest TV stations in Bulgaria. We we awarded €7,500 and a commitment for major media coverage throughout the year on Nova TV. We are also the very first LGBTI organization within the entire portfolio of Reach for Change (they operate in 17 countries), to become a finalist. We are planning to actively work with them to help foster other organizations like ours;
- In April we are launching support groups for both LGBTI youth and their parents.
