Happy Holidays from Sing Me a Story!

Dear Supporters,

To date, we've been able to give over 500 children in need songs based on their stories, provide this opportunity to over 100 partner organizations around the world, and have over 2,000 songwriters volunteer their talents. Also, we are now partnered with music venues across the country giving artists the chance to record songs for local kids.

This Year's Highlights:

  • The Today Show - Sing Me a Story was featured on The Today Show this year which was incredible! The Today Show highlighted the work of our organization and specifically documented a song written by the band Humming House for Morgan,  a member of Gilda's Club in Nashville.
  • Sing Me a Story Summer Tour 2016 - Sing Me a Story kicked off its inaugural Sing Me a Story Summer Tour where the organization partnered with 9 music festivals giving artists at festivals the opportunity to record songs for kids in need. Almost 50 songs were recorded with the help of 23 corporate sponsors and the Sing Me a Story Summer Tour 2017 looks even bigger!
  • Music Venue Partners - Sing Me a Story has partnered with 65 music venues in 7 cities including Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, Portland and Milwaukee to give artists on tour the opportunity to record songs for local kids. The goal for 2017 is to bring on corporate sponsors in those markets to help expand and continue delivering joy through music to kids in need.

Thank you for all of your support. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to get involved in our program in any number of ways.

Happy Holidays from the Sing Me A Story Foundation
