Summer of Music

Dear Supporter,

It has been a busy summer here at Sing Me a Story.  We have partnered with 10 music festivals this summer including Summerfest, Sweetwater 420 Fest and Bunbury Music Fest to bring artists at festivals the opportunity to record songs for local children in need.

The premise behind our program is that we give children in hospitals, children's homes, and hospice organizations throughout the world the chance to write and illustrate stories about anything they want. We then distribute those stories to songwriters who turn them into songs, record them and send them back to the kids and families via our program.

Furthermore, fans are able to contribute to the song, receive the song as an MP3 and support the organization from where the story came as well as our organization. The idea being that prior to the festival, an artist is provided a story from a child in need (for example a Ronald McDonald House) and the artist would have the opportunity to turn it into a song and record it while at the festival.

Sing Me a Story has been featured by The TODAY Show, PEOPLE Magazine and a number of other local media outlets. We currently have 1800+ songwriters and work with 80 organizations serving children in need throughout the world.

Our work at festivals this Summer has been featured by a handful of media outlets. Below you will find some clips.
