Our orphanage was able to admit new children from the start of this project two years ago because of the funds received. We repaired and painted our old beds, and purchased two new beds with donated funds. Recently an organization (Touching Heart, Inc.) conducted a fundraiser and donated enough money to have 10 new beds built, along with new mattresses, bedding, and mosquito nets for all existing and new beds. We are in the process of vetting more orphans to join us at Hope for Children Center. We appreciate all the help given, but feel we have exceeded our original goal in this particular area, and are ready to move our fundraising efforts to a new project, that of opening a vocational school.
