The "Help Girls Lead Climate Action in Nepal" initiative has made encouraging strides in empowering adolescent girls to take leadership in climate awareness and advocacy. In the first half of the year, the Women Welfare Foundation conducted climate literacy workshops in Bardiya and Kailali districts, reaching over 150 schoolgirls with interactive sessions on climate change, disaster preparedness, and environmental sustainability. Additionally, a Youth Climate Leadership Camp was organized, where selected girls developed community action plans and presented their ideas to local stakeholders. These activities have not only increased climate knowledge but also inspired girls to be active change agents in their communities.
