Dear Donor,
Oshani's (name changed) life was filled with challenges from a very young age. She moved to Goa with her parents and two siblings, hoping for a better future. Sadly, life became even more difficult when her father became addicted to alcohol and stopped working. He often came home drunk and was violent towards the family.
To support her children, Oshani's mother worked as a house helper. Oshani cared for her younger siblings and helped her mother instead of going to school. At an age when children should be learning and playing, she was carrying responsibilities far beyond her years. Even through these hardships, she never gave up her dream of returning to school.
Our field workers identified the family during community visits and reached out to help. Oshani was welcomed into one of El Shaddai's children's homes, where she found safety, care, and a new beginning. Today, she is happily attending school, making friends, and slowly rebuilding her confidence.
Child sponsorship has made this transformation possible. It has given Oshani a safe place to live, access to education, nutritious meals, and the opportunity to dream about her future once again.
Your generous support is changing the lives of children like Oshani every day. Thank you for giving vulnerable children in Goa the chance to learn, grow, and look forward to a brighter future.
With gratitude!
El Shaddai Family!
