2020 Rose Performances Coming!

By Katherine Mayberry | Project Leader

Thank you again to all of our donors who are supporting the partnership between the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company and WBLV Public Radio to bring Shakespeare in the Rose to our audiences every year.

During the summer of 2020, we will again present two different plays by William Shakespeare.  On May 30, audiences can join us for Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale.  Featuring such fairytale elements as a missing princess, a storm at sea, a mysterious statue, and the appearance of a bear, this story of family reconciliation will charm audiences with its blend of heartfelt emotion and rollicking comedy.

On August 22, we will present Shakespeare's King Lear.  When the aging king divides his kingdom among his daughters, ambition and family rivalries rear their heads.  We hope that audiences will love this moving tragedy.

Tickets are already available for both performances HERE.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of this project!
