Thank you to all of our supporters for the performances in the Rose, the spectacular recreation of an Elizabethan theatre housed at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
We have chosen the plays that we will perform in 2020, and we hope to see you at these performances. We will present Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale on May 30, and King Lear on August 22.
We have two casts of outstanding actors ready to bring their magic to these performances, and as usual we are very happy to be partnering with Blue Lake Public Radio.
During the summer of 2019, your contributions helped us to bring Jim Warren, founding artistic director of the American Shakespeare Center, to Michigan to give a pre-show talk at the Rose. We are currently researching some other guests that we might invite to give similar talks at our 2020 Rose performances, so stay tuned for more exciting information as we get closer to those performance dates.
We appreciate all of your help in creating outstanding productions to serve our regional audiences!
