Thank you so much to our donors to the 2017 Shakespeare at the Rose season. Plans for our performances are shaping up!
This year's performances will be The Merchant of Venice on June 3 at 2:00 p.m., and Julius Caesar on August 26 at 2:00 p.m.. We have our casts in place, and our cast for the June 3 production is diligently working with their scripts. We have already started distributing tickets to some local students, and we hope to offer many secondary and university students the opportunity to see these live performances.
Your donations are also helping to create our costumes. Planning is underway for some new Renaissance style pieces to be added to our stock as part of these productions.
Our actors are also currently planning wonderful live music in Renaissance style to entertain our audiences before the performances and at intermission.
We are so thrilled with your ongoing support of our productions in this unique playhouse, and we look forward to sending more news as we get closer to this year's shows!
