This year, we formed a new prevention team, consisting of 50 young volunteers working with the theme of sexual violence, in order to reach out and spread information to their peers.
Following the training, the team at IDH followed up with the youth volunteers on their activities in their communities, neighborhoods, universities, families, churches, etc.
As of now, 30 volunteers have reached out to 200 people with information on how to prevent sexual violence.
Thanks to the donnors, we can go on with this project and spread information throughout the population.
Each time we speak of this topic with the young people, there is at least one person of the audience who comes to us afterwards to share what she has suffered in terms of sexual violence.
We also know that many cases have been reported at the Youth Protection Service after our talk at the school.
