The Setu Shiksha Jyoti Program at Village Salapur Noida was started in 2008, The main objective was to get the unserved children in the village access to education. Over the last 6 years over 250 children got groomed and were admitted to formal schooling. The current batch of 60 students was also admitted to formal schooling in March 2014. With this the Project stands closed.
Currently 45 of these students are under going after school remedial classes at the same location inorder to ensure that they continue with their education and do not dropout from the school. This project no longer requires funding. The location also provided Skill Training to Youth and this project also does not currently reuire any external funding.
We thanks all our donors for their continued support and hope that they shall help our new projects also.
