Generational slavery continues openly in Pakistan; families are trapped in debt under life-threatening conditions with limited escape. Children work long hours in brick kilns, and women and girls face relentless exploitation and abuse. Elders endure harsh treatment with chains on their feet. Your support will set them free by paying off debts, teaching livelihood skills, and helping them start small businesses. Freedom can't wait-Break their chains and restore hope. Set a family free today!
Bonded labor is a serious problem in parts of Punjab, particularly in brick kiln industries. Families are trapped for generations in debts of $800-$1300 they cannot repay, forcing parents and children to work long hours under life-threatening conditions. Wages are often withheld and debts manipulated, leaving families powerless. We have identified 44 families trapped in this system. This project will help repay their debts, teach livelihood skills & support them in starting home-based businesses
The project will work in phases: Debts of 44 enslaved families (appx 308 people ) will be paid so they can return home. Essential medical aid and meals will be provided. Children will be enrolled in schools. Adults will be organized into groups and trained in basic livelihood skills. They will receive support to start small businesses such as food stalls, vegetable carts, grocery shops, barbering, plumbing, or electrical work. Families will regain dignity, work freely, and live without slavery.
Through this project, at least 308 people will gain freedom, live safely in their homes, and earn through self-support businesses. Children will start attending school and build a brighter future. Girls will live with dignity and good health. Families will be able to live without fear or exploitation. No longer at risk of violence, abuse, exploitation, or forced labor. No one will ever have chains on their feet. This change will not take decades-it will be visible within just three months.
