We are pleased to report that the Girl Child Network has joined GlobalGiving through their Girl Effect Challenge, which was designed to identify organizations working to further the rights of adolescent girls in developing countries. As a result, Girl Child Network has joined GlobalGiving as a partner with its own projects on the site.

The Girl Child Network has been a grant partner of IDEX since 1999, which means that IDEX has supported GCN with grants and access to resources, including managing the project here on GlobalGiving. We are pleased to report that GCN is now in a position to lead their own fundraising through GlobalGiving, which is one of our goals as an organization in promoting partner sustainability.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
