This year, 360 children (50% girls and 50% boys) attended the six nursery schools supported by our project.
At the end of the school year, each school organizes a celebration where the children perform songs, dances, poems and educational activities in front of their parents and the entire community.
In many villages, adults still believe that very young children are too young to learn. Seeing children confidently perform before hundreds of spectators is therefore a real eye-opener. Parents are often amazed by what their children have learned in just one school year.
The nursery school in Fina organizes the most successful end-of-year celebration. Every year, the event attracts an increasing number of villagers who come to watch and celebrate the children's achievements.
These performances have a lasting impact on the community. They encourage parents to enrol their younger children in nursery school and help change attitudes toward early childhood education. At the same time, the children develop confidence, improve their communication skills, and take great pride in demonstrating what they have learned.
