From Merci Thou, Director of the Home:
We are very grateful to God for giving us the privilege of being a blessing to the dear little angels [nine agencies, including Global Giving and Fabulous African Fabrics who support us]. His grace abounds towards us.
The quarterly report from the GSCH tells us of 28 children are sitting for the national examination, 17 sitting for their Kenyan Certificates of Secondary Education, and 11 for their Kenyan Certificate of Primary Edcuation. Four students were ranked at the top of their individual classes; and Felix Ouma, graduate of the home's primary school, received his Bachelor's of Science degree this month! Your contributions are paying off, and the orphans are paying you back with their excellent scholarship.
Because of your generosity, FAF is able to donate $4000 to the Good Samaritan Children's Home this month. In my next letter I will tell you about a huge turn around made by little Mary Njeri, a five year old girl rescued by a community health worker who is also being helped by the orphanage.
