We are pleased to share a recent update from the field on the Send a Girl to High School with a Bicycle Gift Project, made possible through your kind contributions.
On 28 June 2025, Janaki Women Awareness Society (JWAS) distributed 50 bicycles to 50 high school girls at Shree Birendra Bazar Secondary School, located in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, Ward No. 4, Birendra Bazar, Dhanusha, Nepal. These bicycles, donated by Thomas & Friends through Vicente Ferrer Stiftung gGmbH (VFS), are a vital support to help ensure that girls can continue their secondary education without the barrier of long commutes.
We believe this support will contribute significantly to reducing school dropouts and early marriages by making education more accessible for these girls.
This milestone has only been possible because of your continued generosity. Your support has helped us reach this point, and we look forward to your ongoing partnership as we strive to reach even more girls in need.
We warmly welcome your feedback and are happy to provide any additional information you may require.
Thank you once again for your invaluable support.
Warm regards,
JWAS Project Team
