SENDING 2,000 OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN BACK TO SCHOOL AND SUPPORTING VULNERABLE WOMEN.
Thousands of children in our target communities are out of school due to poverty, insecurity, and social challenges. The situation has been worsened by the activities of different terrorist groups, who have kidnapped children and women, forcing families to withdraw their children from school out of fear. At the same time, many women, especially single mothers and widows, lack the resources needed to support their families. This project aims to return 2,000 out-of-school children to school while empowering vulnerable women to rebuild their lives.
CHALLENGES
Children face school dropout due to school fees, child labor, early marriage, displacement, lack of learning materials, and fear of abduction by terrorist groups.
Women face insecurity, loss of livelihoods, trauma from kidnappings and violence, limited skills, and the heavy responsibility of caring for their families.
FUNDING CHALLENGES
Despite the urgent need, securing adequate funding remains a major challenge. The scale of support required to return 2,000 children to school and assist vulnerable women is significant. Limited funding affects our ability to cover school fees, uniforms, learning materials, psychosocial support, and safety-related measures. Rising costs due to insecurity, displacement, and inflation further strain available resources. Without timely and sustained funding, many children remain out of school and women continue to face poverty, trauma, and heightened risk. Increased donor support is essential to ensure continuity, reach more beneficiaries, and achieve lasting impact
SOLUTIONS
The project will support children’s return to school by covering basic school needs such as enrollment support, uniforms, and learning materials, while working with communities to promote safer learning environments. At the same time, vulnerable women will receive psychosocial support, basic skills training, and small income-generating support to strengthen household stability and reduce the risks that keep children out of school.
CALL TO ACTION
We urgently call on donors, partners, and compassionate individuals to stand with us. Every day, more children and women are living with fear, trauma, and uncertainty caused by violence, displacement, and extreme poverty. Without support, many children remain out of school and many women continue to suffer in silence. Your support can provide safety, healing, and hope. By supporting this project, you help traumatized children return to school and give vulnerable women the chance to rebuild their lives with dignity. Please support us today, lives depend on it
