Send back 2000 Out-of-School children program is a project that terms to re-enrolling 2000 out-of-school children back into the educational world. We aim to ensure that every child is a student, regardless of their tribe, religious affiliation or circumstances they find themselves.
Since the inception of this project, we have made several changes and impact in the lives of the children in several ways.
We have impacted in their lives by teaching them different aspect of music and pedagogy workshop, which can be useful to them now and in the future. We also impacted the lives of the teenagers who were excited to learn and accepted all what was offered to them by CCASBL.
Community outreach initiative:
We made our intentions known in the community in other to build relationships, provide resources, and promote awareness about our music and pedagogy activities which will be taking place in the community and for the children to build self confidence in themselves and know we are there to help them build their future by impacting in their lives positively.
We informed them of the numerous ways this program can profoundly impact their lives, shaping their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development
1. Academic success: Music and pedagogy sessions lay the foundation for future academic success, promoting a love of learning and a strong work ethic.
2. Life skills: This program teaches essential life skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication, preparing children for future challenges.
3. Personal growth: It foster personal growth, helping children develop a positive self-image, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence.
4. Sensory integration: Music and pedagogy sessions provide opportunities for children to engage their senses, integrating sensory experiences and promoting overall physical development.
Participants enrollment support :We distributed various workbooks,educational brochures,posters,art supplies,craft kits,musical instruments, musical themed activity sheets to foster and encourage the children and their families.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
1. Regular assessments: We regularly assess children's music skills, knowledge, and attitudes.
2. Observations: We observe children's participation, engagements, and behavior during music and pedagogy lessons.
3. Progress tracking: We make sure we keep a record of children's progress, noting improvements, challenges, and areas for further development.
4. Feedback from children and families: We encourage children and families to provide feedback on their music and pedagogy learning experience.
