SESSO Project Report - August 2026

By Erin Knesek and Gabriel Maluak | Project Leaders

Greetings to all of our SESSO supporters! We hope this project update finds you well, and that you have had a good summer.

Our sponsored students are currently attending school, and in this issue, we would like to highlight a few accomplishments of three of our students.

First, one of our longer-standing students, James, who is in 11th grade was elected as head prefect in the school this academic school year, which is an extremely high honor. He also participated in the National Debate for High School Students organized by Youth Link Foundation. We are very proud of James!

Second, one of our new 5th Grade students Adit scored highest in her class (1st position) during her first semester. She also participated in various poetry contests and championships, and was awarded various certificates for her accomplishments. Amazing, Adit!

Finally, another of our new 5th Grade students Gol was selected for his class football team as a central midfielder. His class played 5 matches last semester, and won 4... with Gol scoring 3 goals for the season. We encourage our students to do well in their studies, but also emphasize the importance of participating in extracurricular activities to help them grow socially.

Thank you again for your continued support. We look foward to providing future updates on our amazing students.
