Dear friends,
Greetings from Bangalore Baptist Hospital.
"Look at my Aysha; she can look up," her mother exclaimed. Her exclamation reflects her joy at seeing her daughter's progress. Aysha's ability to focus her eyes on objects after six months, thanks to regular therapy and exercises, is a significant milestone.
Sanjana and Harris, despite facing challenges with their social skills, have recently begun engaging in cooperative play, marking a significant and positive milestone. Through cooperative play, Sanjana and Harris have learned to share and take turns, and we don't see them elbowing each other now.
Tahnishk, who has autism, has benefitted from stacking cups as a fun way to improve his hand-eye coordination. Thanks to your generosity, Tahnishk is making significant progress. Stacking cups has helped him develop his motor skills, spatial awareness, and social interactions.
Like many children with special needs, Sanjana faces challenges in some regions of her development, particularly in her oral motor skills. These skills are crucial for various functions, including eating, drinking, and speech production.
With your generous contributions, we have provided Sanjana with educational and supportive toys and therapies to support her growth and development. One such intervention that has shown promising results is using coloured rings to enhance her oral motor skills. Coloured rings are a versatile and engaging tool for Sanjana to practice and strengthen her oral motor skills.
We are grateful for your continued generosity and commitment to our cause. Your contributions are instrumental in providing children like Aysha, Sanjana, Harris, and Tahnishk with the resources and interventions they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
Thank you once again for your support. We look forward to sharing more success stories with you and continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special needs.
Gratefully,
Carol
