We support 150+ orphaned and vulnerable children who walk miles on dusty roads just to learn, Many living with elderly grandmothers or in child-headed homes, without electricity or running water.We are a local-led organization since 2024. $15 buys a full set of books and pens. $35 buys a uniform and shoes. $60 keeps a child in school for a whole year
Imagine Sarah, 10, who can't attend school because she doesn't have a $12 uniform. Or James, who copies lessons in the dust because he has no exercise book.In Uganda, primary school is officially free, but uniforms, books, and supplies are not. For families surviving on less than $2 a day, school comes after food and medicine.Many children are orphans being raised by grandmothers caring for 10-15 grandchildren. We will work directly with local primary schools in Aparis village, in Kumi, to provide materials, upgrade classrooms with safe floors, sanitation, and libraries, and follow up every term to ensure children stay in school.
