Thanks to you, our generous donors, we have raised over USD $8,394 towards this project. Our goal was, and still is, USD $20,000 but we are already moving forward with the amount raised, which will fund 40 Filipino Amerasian children for a year!
This is update #2 since the fundraiser promotion period, which ended on June 28. PAGA continues with its calendar of events and services for assisting the development of our beneficiaries.

PERSONALITY AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Seminar on “Promoting Self Care for Children and their Parents” with a team of resource persons from Angeles City Social Welfare and Development Office and DSWD Region 3.
Held on October 5, 2019 at Conference Hall, Barangay Balibago, Angeles City. 16 (8 students and 8 parents) attended and actively participated in the workshop. The seminar was timely and as they became abreast with the current societal concerns and how they can apply the learning as part of self-care. The total expenses of the activity were P6,194.00.
“On-Line Career Assessment Test” Guidance for Career Planning. The free career assessments for our Junior and Senior High students is courtesy of Mr. Malcolm Pick, National Director of Profiles Asia Pacific, Inc., a friend referral of Mr. F. Holz.
Held on October 26, 2019, 12 students (5 Grade 10 and 7 Grade 12) took the On-line Career Assessment Test that was conducted at the PAGA office in two batches. At the end of the activity, the students were asked about their experience and lessons learned taking the online assessment test, some of their responses are:
- The test was not easy, especially since it has a time limit, focus is very important.
- Read and understand the instructions carefully as well as the questions.
- Very timely, because soon, school tests, submission of projects and research might be on-line; and we’re able to experience it here in PAGA.
