Since launching our project on GlobalGiving, we have received our first contribution of $20.
As described in our project, this donation was used to support the educational resources we provide to children participating in our programs. In particular, it contributed toward the cost of learning platforms such as Matific and other educational tools that we use to strengthen children's math, literacy, and learning skills.
While this is still a small first contribution toward the broader funding goal of the project, it was used directly for the type of educational support described in our proposal.
We are grateful to our first GlobalGiving donor for supporting this work and hope to continue building a community of supporters around the project.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
