Shortly after our last project report, we were struck by serious flooding and had to seek additional assistance in oder to construct proper trenches and converters around the buildings to prevent future flooding and ensure a safe and hygenic environment for the children.
Once we had recovered, we were able to welcome a wave of volunteers that brought lots of kindness and support while building meangingful relationships of mutual learning! Volunteers brought their own recipes and dances while also learning many of ours. So much joy and laughter was shared.
