Thanks to your continued support, Fundación Perros Sin Nombre (FPSN) has been able to provide lifesaving care to hundreds of vulnerable animals in Tela, Honduras.
Over the past several months, our team has continued caring for approximately 159 rescued dogs and cats living at our no-kill shelter. Many of these animals arrived suffering from severe neglect, malnutrition, skin diseases, heartworm, injuries, and abandonment. Through your generosity, we have been able to provide food, medical treatment, vaccinations, deworming, and safe shelter while they recover.
One of our most significant accomplishments was the completion of a large-scale spay and neuter campaign in partnership with veterinarians and volunteers from several countries. During this campaign, 688 animals were sterilized, helping prevent thousands of unwanted births and reducing future suffering among stray animals in our community.
We have also continued treating some of our most critical rescue cases. Dogs suffering from TVT, severe skin conditions, eye injuries, and chronic illnesses are receiving ongoing veterinary care and rehabilitation. Several animals have completed their treatments and are now ready to find loving forever homes.
In addition, we continue working toward our dream of relocating to our permanent shelter property. We successfully completed the construction of a water cistern, a critical step in developing a safe and sustainable facility for the animals in our care. However, construction has slowed due to financial challenges, and we continue seeking support to complete the shelter and move from our current location.
Every donation makes a direct difference. Your support provides food, medicine, emergency veterinary care, shelter maintenance, and sterilization services that improve the lives of countless animals who otherwise would have no chance of survival.
On behalf of every dog, cat, volunteer, and staff member at FPSN, thank you for believing in our mission. Together, we are creating a future where animals are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
With gratitude,
Diana Gutierrez
