Whew! That was close!!! Hurricane Earl, a strong category 4 hurricane, just brushed past the SeaAid research vessel Taza just before the memorial day weekend. With sustained winds of over 140 mph, the damage could have been catastrophic, but fortunately Earl's path kept him about 90 miles off the Virginia coast and Taza sustained no damage. Many thanks to those of you who had us in your thoughts and prayers!
We're now preparing for our Winter projects in Fiji and Mexico, and as always your support for our work is greatly appreciated!!
