Busy Spring and Summer!

By Capt. Diamond | Project Leader

Haulout for bottom paint
Haulout for bottom paint

Spring and Summer will be very busy for SeaAid as we spend a couple hundred hours and thousands of dollars maintaining our research vessel Taza. Taza will be getting fresh bottom paint, her hull and topsides painted, and a re-built genset, plus all of her regular maintenance schedule items.

We recently remodeled the SeaAid website, please take a look when you have a chance and give us your feedback on how you think we could make the website more attractive and/or more informative.

We're now working on grants to help fund SeaAid projects in our Caribbean theater of operations for the upcoming winter season, and of course we always welcome your assistance whether is be financial, volunteer labor, or both!
