Girls from the Aunty Ayo Secondary school coming out of the screening "So amazing Malala has inspired us to finish our education and think big!"

With a population of almost 16million, three-quarters of Lagos residents live in slums.Large number of schools within the state are unable to afford basic educational needs. With limited resourse they struggle to study. "The experience that the children had and showed their spirits toward education while interacting at the screenings, was very inspiring! The children felt more motivated when leaving the cinemas saying they will do whatever it takes to keep studying!" - Trushna Buddhdev Patel, Managing Director, Crimson Multimedia Ltd

"Its amazing to see girls very charged and excited, watching the film and clapped at the end of the screening! "Joy Odiete of Blue Pictures Ltd, Lagos

The project was successfully started off from 27th November and ran till 18th December 2015, covering almost 50% of the planned quota of 4550. Due to schools closure for the Christmas holidays, the balance of 5,482 are to resume the screenings from 18th January till end of the month. This will make up the total of 10,032 target children having watched the film in Lagos.
