SCI is a recipient of funding from the UK government’s Department for International Development (DFID). DFID are funding SCI to deliver treatments for schistosomiasis in 16 countries across sub Saharan Africa through the Integrated Control of Schistosomiasis and Intestinal Helminths in Sub-Saharan Africa (ICOSA) Project. As a result, SCI periodically has our programmes reviewed by DFID.
In 2015 DFID sent external consultants to SCI to review the ICOSA programme both in London as well as visiting a number of countries where the treatment they are funding is being delivered. We have received the report and are proud to announce that SCI has been awarded an A+ rating.

This is an incredible achievement and a score that is very rarely awarded!
