Dear supporters,
thank you for helping us maintain our long partnership with two schools in Haiti. We were able to continue financially supporting our partner schools St. Emma and St. Nicolas this year. Unfortunately, the socio-political conditions in the country have been so devastating for months in terms of security and health risks that the schools could not be opened for months after the summer holidays. Therefore, the local staff reactivated the learning groups from the COVID pandemic and were able to "bring home" at least a little of the school to the students. We were able to support them because of your generous donations.
We hope that the situation improves in Haiti, but donations are always needed: the health system is at its limits, violence is very present and schooling can only continute thanks to very brave local staff.
If you can, please consider supporting St. Emma and St. Nicolas again.
