We believe that the start of new year is the best time to help children focus on exploring interests and develop a sense of purpose. As the schools reopened in January after the winter break, children started the first school day by making New Year resolutions. It was great to see them creating and promising to attain goals! From promising to brush their teeth twice a day, to reading books every day, to performing one act of kindness every week, to learning new vocabulary word daily and so on, it was a fun and bonding activity.
This school session also marks the final academic quarter with revisions and preparations for Final Exams in March.
We are grateful to all those who are part of our community and generously donated to our Winter Warmth Appeal in November, since temperatures go down to nearly freezing point in December and January, and vulnerable children are most affected in our schools, we collect sweaters or donations for the school children. Thank you so much, your donations in response to our appeal give hope and warmth to these children.
Many thanks to our generous donor too for sending loads of books to school!
