Subarneswor School Third Phase Report
“We are so happy as we are getting back safe classrooms which were damaged from disaster”. This is the voice of students studying at the school who once felt the big calamity of the earthquake. Classrooms were in no- use. Students are studying at the outer side with the temporary shelter. With the initiation of GlobalGiving, Volunteers Community Nepal is working for making the classroom safe with some kind of renovation and construction activities. We are there from two months and accordingly completed some of the activities that we want to share with the photos which is attached with this email.
We have collected sufficient quantity of construction materials and equipment. With the use of it, the majority of reconstruction works are partially completed. So far, we are regular in contact with the school’s administration, and continue our work schedule without disturbing study environment. We are thankful to the school management committee, monitoring officers and our VCN project and construction team for making all this work possible. Our target is to accomplish all the construction process within one month and let all the children got their beautiful classrooms again.
VCN thanks all the supporting hands on this occasion.
With best regards
Volunteers Community Nepal
